An epic Q&A with ‘Teen Wolf’s equally epic new Stiles, Dylan O’Brien

Danielle Turchiano recently had an interview with Dylan.  Below is part of the interview and you can read the entire interview by clicking the link!

LA TV Insider Examiner: We have to ask the question that’s surely on everyone’s mind. Stiles feels so natural, like you just adlib everything, and Jeff Davis [the showrunner] told us he wants you to co-write an episode next season. In fact, he told us he bought you some screenwriting books in order to do so. So have you cracked them open? Would you be interested in stepping into the writer’s room, even if just as a guest on an episode?

Dylan O’Brien: I did flip through one of them! Oh God, I’m such an asshole. But hey, it’s better than lying, right? [Laughs] It would be such an honor and a privilege. I guess I just never see it happening because I would be too nervous to even present something or some kind of material of writing to Jeff Davis. There’s actually one scene in Teen Wolf that I wrote– yeah, one scene.

Was it something you wrote ahead of time or something you needed to adlib on the spot?

D.O.: We were shooting the rest of the pilot, and there was one scene that Jeff didn’t like, so he sent me something, and he said ‘Send me something back.’ So I sent him something back, and he liked it, and we shot it, so that’s technically one scene of Teen Wolf that I’ve written.
