And The TV Guide ‘Fan Favorites’ Cover Goes To…’Teen Wolf’!

TVG_2013_FanFav

“Teen Wolf” fans can do anything they put their minds to, and their latest demonstration of loyalty has resulted in a TV Guide Magazine cover featuring series co-stars Tyler Posey and Tyler Hoechlin.

For the magazine’s annual “Fan Favorites” issue, readers were given the power to choose which of 10 popular shows graced the cover through a poll hosted on the TV Guide Facebook page, and while “Teen Wolf” was up against some heavy hitters — “Pretty Little Liars,” “Scandal” and “The Vampire Diaries,” just to name a few — it took an early lead and continued to dominate throughout the month-long competition. Give yourselves a pat on the back, guys!

The issue will hit newsstands December 5, but in the meantime, feel free to gaze longingly at TyPo’s and TyHo’s captivating eyes, godlike jawlines and ripped physiques, which, yes, are sadly shrouded by those pesky things called shirts, but we trust your imaginations can work something out.

Five Things About ‘Teen Wolf’ Season 3, Episode 13 ‘Anchors’!

The winter premiere of Teen Wolf won’t arrive until January 6, but we’ve got five spoilers to hold you over until then!

After watching a screener of Teen Wolf season 3, episode 13, we can say without any doubt that you haven’t seen anything yet. The winter season of Teen Wolf is bound to be the darkest and creepiest of the series, and we can’t wait to see what else is in store for our heroes.

In the meantime, here are five spoilers we can share with you from the episode “Anchors.”

Throwback

There will be a line between Scott and Stiles that’s a throwback to season 1, episode 1. It’s subtle, but if you’re paying attention, you’re bound to notice it. We won’t spoil the surprise for you, but we will say that diehard fans are going to enjoy this little walk down memory lane.

New character

There are a couple of new characters that pop up during episode 1, and one of them has superpowers. We can’t say what he or she can do, or who they are, but their story is bound to be an important one to several of the main characters, both young and old.

Isaac

When we left Isaac in the first half of Teen Wolf season 3, he was walking on precarious ground. In the winter premiere, he’s on even thinner ice. But not to worry — a lot of Isaac’s role in episode 1 is centered around comedic elements, and it’s nice to see Daniel Sharman putting his good timing to work. Fans will surely be struggling to figure out whose side they’re on (Scott or Isaac’s), but along the way they’re bound to have a few laughs, too.

Kira

Kira is introduced fairly early on in the episode, and she actually comes face to face with our entire group of high school heroes pretty quickly. She’s an asset to them in the first episode, and there’s definitely a spark of interest in her from one of the boys. Her story is just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what the writers do with her.

Mind. Blown.

If the rest of the winter season is anything like the premiere episode, prepare for your minds to be blown. Nothing is what it seems, and just as soon as you think you have a handle on the situation, everything explodes in another direction. The winter season is going to be unlike anything we’ve had on Teen Wolf so far, and we fully expect to have lost our minds by the time episode 24 roles around.

Are you prepared?

‘Teen Wolf’ Spoilers: 5 Insane Things to Know About Stiles, Scott & The Winter Premiere

Untitled-1

“Teen Wolf” Season 3.5 is insane. Like literally, terrifyingly, awesomely insane. Keep reading for five of the craziest spoilers from “Anchors,” the winter premiere.

In case you had forgotten where we were when the summer episodes ended, here’s a refresher:

  • Scott, Stiles and Allison nearly died in order to save their parents — risking side effects that will only really begin in these new episodes.
  • The Alpha pack has been defeated and is not an immediate threat anymore.
  • Scott’s FBI agent dad is back in town and making trouble.
  • Derek left town with his sister for a vacation. He’s not back yet when the new episodes begin.
  • Having realized his true potential, Scott became an Alpha

Now for the spoilers:

1. Fans of Stiles (i.e., everybody) will love the premiere’s opening. He is the only person on-screen for the first few minutes. After that, he’s the focus for the rest of the scenes leading up to the opening credit. Dylan O’Brien is amazing throughout all of it.

2. Mrs. McCall has her hands full dealing with not one but two supernatural boys living in her house. This is not helped by the fact that they both like the same girl. Isaac gets slammed into a lot of walls because of this.

3. A car crash from several years earlier may prove to be very important for this season’s story arc.

4. Before “Anchors” ends, look for Allison to nearly kill a couple of people.

5. There’s a new history teacher at the high school (for obvious reasons). His daughter is a rather important new girl, Kira (Arden Cho). She gets an embarrassing introduction to her classmates.
