Jeff Davis Tumblr Q&A Roundup

Here’s all of the questions & answers that have to do with Dylan and Stiles from Jeff Davis’ Q&A he did on Tumblr today:

Q: Is there any hope that there will be a season 4 ?

A: I believe the network would like to do a Season 4. It depends on a variety of factors. Ratings, DVR numbers. And I have to decide as well if I’m going to do the next season or hand the reins off to someone else. There are always a number of considerations when deciding on another season.

Q: what episode will the stydia kiss be in??

A: 311 which is called “Alpha Pact”.

Q: How did you manage to hire the hottest cast alive

A: Everyone behind the scenes is incredibly shallow.

Q: Was Stiles mom polish? Please, that would be amazing! Also, that would be the only explanation I can think of by his name being hard to pronounce since polish is a very difficult language in general.

A: This might cause an uproar online but yes. And Stiles’s first name is indeed Polish.

TVEquals.Com Teen Wolf Season 3 Panel [Comic-Con 2013]

Teen Wolf is nearing the end of its summer season and the cast and crew were on hand at this week’s Comic-Con 2013 to tease what fans could expect in the next few episodes. They also gave out a few hints and spoilers about their upcoming winter season as well.

Cast members Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, Charlie Carver, and Max Carver, plus executive producer Jeff Davis hosted a special Q&A and shared a special premiere video full of exclusive clips from upcoming episodes.

Here are a few things we learned in the panel.

Monday’s episode will be something very different for the show. Davis spoke about Monday’sepisode (July 22) and said that they were all very proud of it and that it was the “most different” from any other episode they’ve ever shot. He also said that it will delve into Derek’s past and answer a lot of questions – including the reason behind the color of a werewolf’s eyes.

The winter premiere will be on January 16, 2013 and feature 12 more episodes.

A kiss isn’t just a kiss. When fans were shown the exclusive clips from upcoming episodes, some were shocked to see a kiss between Stiles and Lydia. When asked about the shocking moment, O’Brien would only say, “The kiss isn’t just a kiss.”

A few secrets will be revealed in episode 9. Talking about the first episode of the winter season, Davis said that it will reveal a lot about Lydia and clear up questions about her origin. He teased that the title (which is apparently “The Girl Who Knew Too Much”) will be a hint.

An upcoming episode will have a Die Hard theme. Speaking about the upcoming episodes, Davis said that episode 3.10 would be like Die Hard in a hospital.

The next half of the season will bring a new mythology and at least one new character. When asked about the upcoming episodes, Davis said that they would have a heavy Asian influence and that a new mythology will be added to the show. The new mythology will bring a new female character and will be based on the idea of a were-fox.

O’Brien is okay with his character not having any powers, but he would like the poor guy to get some action. Asked by a fan if he would ever want his character to get any sort of super powers, O’Brien joked: “No, I don’t want any powers, [but] the sex needs to happen.” Sex was obviously very much on his mind. When asked by another fan which characters he would ship on the show, he said: “I want a giant Teen Wolf orgy.”

Tyler Posey and Dylan O’Brien really are best friends and they even have cute little nicknames for each other. Asked about their friendship on and off screen, both Posey and O’Brien admitted that it’s no act and they really are great friends. In fact, they have pet names for each other. Posey calls O’Brien “D” or “D-Balls” and O’Brien called Posey “T” or “T-Pose.”

Charlie wishes his brother would stop getting inside of him. When asked by a fan what they might say to their characters if they ever got to meet them, Charlie Carver joked: “I’d kindly ask Aidan to stop putting himself inside me.”

Don’t forget to tune into Teen Wolf’s summer finale this Monday, July 22.

‘Teen Wolf’ at Comic-Con: Second Half of Season 3 Gets Premiere Date & More!

The Panel: Executive producer Jeff Davis, Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Dylan O’Brien, Crystal Reed, Dylan Hoechilin, Daniel Sharman, and Charlie and Max Carver.

Footage screened: A sneak peek from the rest of the season — which was awesome. The two moments that earned huge reactions from the audience? The TWO KISSES. One was between Derek and Jennifer and the other…[spoiler alert] Stiles and Lydia! There was also a good glimpse at an upcoming episode that Davis described as “Die Hard in a hospital.”

Snap judgment: Teen Wolf’s fans are a little nuts, in the best way possible. The enthusiasm that the Comic-Con crowd had — for not only the show’s hunky actors but the show’s mythology — was pretty infectious. One fan put it best right before asking a question: “You’re all really talented…and gorgeous.”

The Big Revelations:

+ The second half of Teen Wolf‘s third season has a premiere date. Circle Jan. 6 on your calendars!

+  ’The virgin sacrifices are over,” said Davis, “but the question of Stiles’ virginity has not been answered but it will be answered in an upcoming episode.” Yup, he means sex. Our money’s on a Lydia-Stiles hook-up, especially in light of Davis’s comment later on after the footage from later this season was screened: “A kiss isn’t just a kiss.”

+ We will find out “what’s up with Lydia” in episode 9, called “The Girl Who Knew Too Much.” Hinted Roden: “The name of the episode is a clue.”

+ The big Derek flashback episode is finally upon us! Said Davis: ”It’s one of the most different of our episodes that we’ve done and we’ve done a lot of experiments this season…but this flashback episode takes us back to Derek’s past and we’re really proud of it. You get a lot of insight into the Hale family, especially the question about a werewolf eyes.”

+ Soon, said Davis, the show will be heading into new mythology involving a Japanese shapeshifter. “We’re excited to take things into a new direction.”

Choice quote: Two. Jeff Davis: “Don’t interrupt the show runner. I write your lines.” AND O’Brien, re his friendship with Posey: ”He’s literally my best friend in the world.” Aww!

Most incisive audience question: “Will we ever see the return of Miguel?” — asked by cast member Keahu Kahuanui, who dressed up in an elaborate costume (complete with a hood and crazy contact lenses) so he could sneak into the question line undetected by fans. The crowd went wild when he revealed himself. Also, one overwhelmed fan broke down into tears while asking her question, instantly winning the affection of the panel. When she finally squeaked out her question? “Would any of you all ever want to be a vampire. OH NO!”  (She meant “werewolf.”) Totally memorable moment.
