Fall Rush Video Interview: Dylan O’Brien Talks Season 2

When Ology rocked the black carpet for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, we got chummy with all of the stars in the entertainment galaxy, from EntourageAwkward. The Real World, and more- yet when we spotted one familiar face (we’ve interviewed him before!), we knew we’d have to get the details on the upcoming season of his hit series Teen Wolf.

Although Fall Rush is all about upcoming series this September, we had to present a nice bonus for all the loyal readers our there. Dylan O’Brien stopped exclusively by Ology’s spot on the carpet to chat with editor Terron R. Moore all about Teen Wolf: from where he was when he found out he still had a job to whether or not fans will get the chance to catch him shirtless next season. We also asked him about his personal ology, and you’ll be surprised at his answer! Enjoy the interview below and look in the background- you’ll see Keahu Kahuanui, who plays Danny!

‘Teen Wolf’ Star Dylan O’Brien: ‘I’ve Never Seen Twilight’

On the popularity of Teen Wolf.
“It’s been a long process and we’ve put so much into it, so it’s really nice to see a warm response. The show has gotten really good reviews by critics and fans. We have such a good time doing it and the icing on the cake is that everyone else loves it, too. It’s so cool because it totally could have gone the other way.”

What Dylan was like in high school.
“I totally played the class clown. I didn’t have that many friends my first few years of high school. It was very cliquey and I’m super shy, so it was hard to make friends. But I was comfortable cracking jokes in class and using my humor to make kids laugh rather than ignore me, so that became my reputation. I just became the class clown because it was the only way I could get attention.”
