TVEquals.Com Teen Wolf Season 3 Panel [Comic-Con 2013]

Teen Wolf is nearing the end of its summer season and the cast and crew were on hand at this week’s Comic-Con 2013 to tease what fans could expect in the next few episodes. They also gave out a few hints and spoilers about their upcoming winter season as well.

Cast members Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, Charlie Carver, and Max Carver, plus executive producer Jeff Davis hosted a special Q&A and shared a special premiere video full of exclusive clips from upcoming episodes.

Here are a few things we learned in the panel.

Monday’s episode will be something very different for the show. Davis spoke about Monday’sepisode (July 22) and said that they were all very proud of it and that it was the “most different” from any other episode they’ve ever shot. He also said that it will delve into Derek’s past and answer a lot of questions – including the reason behind the color of a werewolf’s eyes.

The winter premiere will be on January 16, 2013 and feature 12 more episodes.

A kiss isn’t just a kiss. When fans were shown the exclusive clips from upcoming episodes, some were shocked to see a kiss between Stiles and Lydia. When asked about the shocking moment, O’Brien would only say, “The kiss isn’t just a kiss.”

A few secrets will be revealed in episode 9. Talking about the first episode of the winter season, Davis said that it will reveal a lot about Lydia and clear up questions about her origin. He teased that the title (which is apparently “The Girl Who Knew Too Much”) will be a hint.

An upcoming episode will have a Die Hard theme. Speaking about the upcoming episodes, Davis said that episode 3.10 would be like Die Hard in a hospital.

The next half of the season will bring a new mythology and at least one new character. When asked about the upcoming episodes, Davis said that they would have a heavy Asian influence and that a new mythology will be added to the show. The new mythology will bring a new female character and will be based on the idea of a were-fox.

O’Brien is okay with his character not having any powers, but he would like the poor guy to get some action. Asked by a fan if he would ever want his character to get any sort of super powers, O’Brien joked: “No, I don’t want any powers, [but] the sex needs to happen.” Sex was obviously very much on his mind. When asked by another fan which characters he would ship on the show, he said: “I want a giant Teen Wolf orgy.”

Tyler Posey and Dylan O’Brien really are best friends and they even have cute little nicknames for each other. Asked about their friendship on and off screen, both Posey and O’Brien admitted that it’s no act and they really are great friends. In fact, they have pet names for each other. Posey calls O’Brien “D” or “D-Balls” and O’Brien called Posey “T” or “T-Pose.”

Charlie wishes his brother would stop getting inside of him. When asked by a fan what they might say to their characters if they ever got to meet them, Charlie Carver joked: “I’d kindly ask Aidan to stop putting himself inside me.”

Don’t forget to tune into Teen Wolf’s summer finale this Monday, July 22.
